Elephants Eye Lodge is a 4-star graded Bed & Breakfast and AA Highly Recommended establishment that offers four spacious en suite bedrooms and two self-catering cottages. All guests have a separate entrance. The lodge offers an entertainment area and built-in barbecue or braai-place.

KING OR TWIN
Crows Nest offers either King or Twin beds.
Mrs Crow owned Elephants Eye Lodge and the surrounding land when it was a chicken farm. She was a grand lady and had many formal dinner parties and had many servants.
The lane leading to the library next to Elephants Eye Lodge is named Crow’s Lane after Mrs Crow.
Mac’s Waggle offers a luxurious double bed in the guest wing of the building. In 1937 there was an international Grand Prix race track at present-day Pollsmoor Prison. The squiggly corner of the race track shaped like an ‘M’ was called Mac’s Waggle.
KING OR TWIN
Prinses Kasteel offers either King or Twin beds.
The mountain overlooking Tokai is shaped like an elephant and the cave is the eye. Legend has it that a Hottentot Princess was hidden in the cave. The cave is named Prinses Kasteel.
Steenberg is named for the nearby mountain range which translates as “Mountain of Stone”. Steenberg is the site of the oldest farm in Cape Town.
Grosvenor is a self-catering unit/suite and has a double bed and a single bed, sitting area, dining room table and chairs, kitchenette and bathroom.
In 1937 there was an international Grand Prix race track at present-day Pollsmoor Prison and the company that owned it was called Grosvenor.
Only two races were held there, then war broke out and the company ceased to operate.
van der Poll
van der Poll is a self-catering unit/suite with a double bed and a single bed, sitting area, dining room table and chairs, kitchenette and bathroom.
van der Poll was the name of the farmer who owned the land that the international Grand Prix race track was built on.

A 50% deposit is required to secure the reservation.
Full and final payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.
30 – 22 days prior to arrival – forfeit 25% deposit.
21 – 15 days prior to arrival – forfeit 50% deposit.
8 – 14 days prior to arrival – forfeit 75% deposit.
Less than 7 days prior to arrival – forfeit 100% deposit.
